Once you provide the basic details, you can pay your application fee of INR 1500 (non-refundable) and provide necessary education and work experience details. Pay the admission fee for either one semester/year or full program fee.

What is the selection process?
- Complete the application form by paying the application fee of INR 1500 (non-refundable) and filling in your basic details, education details, and work experience.
- Submit the application by paying the semester fee and uploading documents required to validate your education, work experience, and other details.
- Upon successful submission, your application for the online program will be evaluated by the Admissions team of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. In case the university requires further clarification on your eligibility documents, you will be intimated via email.
- You will get to know the status of your admission within 5-7 working days after submitting the application.
Once a decision is taken on the application, the admissions team will intimate the candidate via email on the status of their admission.
If I am eligible for a scholarship and also pay the entire fee upfront, can I avail both the scholarship and the fee concession (for full payment)?
Yes. All learners who pay the full program fee upfront can avail 5% fee concession on total program fee upon approval. In addition to the fee concession, if a learner is eligible for a scholarship, he/she can avail the same. The scholarship amount will be calculated on the total program fee.
While enrolling for this program, can I directly take admission for BBA (Honors)?
No. At the time of enrolment, learners will be admitted into the 3-year BBA program. At the end of 6 semesters and upon successful completion of the BBA program, learners who have scored a CGPA of 8 or more may opt for the BBA (Honors) program. Such learners must complete two additional semesters to get a BBA (Honors) degree.
How will scholarships be processed for eligible candidates?
Once a candidate’s scholarship is approved during admission, the scholarship benefit shall be applied as per the below table-

For example- In the case of semester-wise fee payment, Semester-1 scholarship benefit shall be applicable in the subsequent semester ie- scholarship benefit of both Semester 1 & 2 shall be applicable while registering for Semester – 2. Thereafter, from Semester – 3, the current semester scholarship benefit shall be applicable.
What is the eligibility for BBA (Honors)?
To be eligible for the BBA (Honors) program, learners must have a CGPA of 8 or more at the end of the 6th semester of the online BBA program.
If I am funding my fee through a bank loan, can I apply for a fee concession for upfront payment of full program fee?
Learners who arrange for bank loans on their own can avail fee concessions for upfront fee payment. Learners whose loans are facilitated by Online Manipal (including subvention and zero cost EMIs) cannot avail this fee concession. However, they may avail scholarships provided they qualify for them.

What is the refund policy?
Manipal Academy of Higher Education follows UGC regulations for refund of course fee.
- 15 days or more, before the formally-notified last date of admission – 100% refund*
- Less than 15 days before the formally-notified last date of admission – 90% refund
- 15 days or less, after the formally-notified last date of admission – 80% refund
- 30 days or less, but more than 15 days after the formally-notified last date of admission – 50% Refund
- More than 30 days after the formally-notified last date of admission – No Refund

How are Manipal Academy of Higher Education’s online programs delivered?
In an online program, teaching and learning happens on Manipal Academy of Higher Education’s learning platform. For each course, learners have access to instructionally designed courseware hosted on the Manipal Academy of Higher Education’s learning platform. The courseware is typically a mix of concept videos, reading material, eBooks and quizzes. Learners are expected to watch concept videos, read the learning material, attempt graded quizzes and finally submit assignments.
What is the medium of instruction?
The medium of instruction is English.
Will there be any live lectures/webinars?
In addition to the rich learning resources, learns will also attend live lectures/webinars by Manipal Academy of Higher Education’s faculty members and industry experts, where students can interact directly with the subject matter experts.
How will my academic queries be answered?
The university provides a dedicated course coordinator for each course. Course coordinators can be contacted via Learning portal using discussion forums.
When do I get access to Manipal Academy of Higher Education’s learning portal?
After your admission is confirmed by the university, you will get credential to access MAHE learning portal. Students can then start accessing the learning resources and begin their learning journey.
How much time should I dedicate to complete the learning activities?
You are expected to spend at least 15-20 hours per week watching concept videos, reading learning materials, attempting quizzes, participating in discussion topics and attending live webinars (recorded sessions are also made available on Manipal Academy of Higher Education learning portal).
What is the evaluation & assessment pattern?
The assessment system has been conceived, developed and administered on a rigorous and fair basis to bring out the best in students and prepare them for a successful career.
A student’s performance evaluation will be based on both Internal Assessment (IA) and End Term Examination (ETE). The assessment ratio of IA to ETE is 30:70.
Internal assessment is based on learner’s participation in discussion board, performance in assignments, performance in unit wise graded quizzes and percentage of content access.
At the end of each semester, the student is required to appear for the End Term Proctored Online Examination.
A student must score at least 40% in Internal Assessment (IA) to become eligible for End Term Examination (ETE).
A student must score at least 40% term-end examination to be declared as having passed in a subject.
What is the grading pattern?
The university uses 10 Point Grading System – A+ (10), A (9), B (8), C (7), D (6), E (5), F-Fail (0)
Will I get to choose a specialization in the BBA and BBA (Honors) program?
Yes. You can choose from 4 specialized tracks- Marketing Management, Healthcare Management, Data Science, and Financial Technology. Specializations will be made available to learners from the 5th semester of the online BBA program. If you are eligible and opt for the BBA (Honors) program, you can take additional subjects in the chosen specialization in semesters 7 & 8.
What if I fail to clear some papers/subjects?
If you fail to clear any paper/subject in End Term Exam (ETE), you must apply for re-sit exams whenever the University conducts by paying a requisite fees/paper.
When can I opt for BBA (Honors)?
Learners can opt for BBA (Honors) at the end of 6th semester of the online BBA program. Learners must have a CGPA of 8 or more at the end of 6th semester of the online BBA program to be eligible to opt for the BBA (Honors) program.
