Withdrawal and Fee Refund Policy

Candidates who have been granted Provisional or Confirmed Admission may request cancellation or withdrawal of their admission. The University will refund the course fee after deducting the applicable cancellation charges as outlined below.

The last date of admission is generally the day prior to the Orientation Day

Note:

  • * In the case mentioned as No. 1 in the table above, the University will deduct 5% of the course fee or ₹5,000 (whichever is lower) as processing charges from the refundable amount.
  • All refunds will be processed by the MAHE Student Finance Office based on the recommendation of the Director, Directorate of Online, and in accordance with the refund schedule provided above.
  • For Foreign/NRI candidates, refunds will be processed in accordance with RBI and applicable foreign exchange regulations. 
  • The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • The refund rules mentioned above are indicative and may be revised based on notifications issued by the relevant statutory or regulatory authorities. Any updates will be published on the University website.

Students who wish to withdraw from their enrolled program must log in to the application portal, and click on the ‘Apply for Refund’ link, and follow further instructions to request for the refund.
